I think their logic was that a family with 12 people (parents and 10 boy children) would have difficulty finding a suitable house with say 6 bedrooms.In addition to the Federal guideline, some local ordinances address occupants both tenants and owners.

So if the house is worth 300k and you owe 200k then most you could pull out would be 40k (minus costs) and it would be a second mortgage most likely which would be expensive. 7.5-9.5% likely.But, you can put as little as 15% down for a conventional loan on a single family.

You are weird if you don't buy or want to buy a home.The government is now talking with the big builders to role out an exclusive incentives to tackle housing affordability as the prices for rent and purchase is getting very unaffordable for many.They are basing it of the multi family model in the USA.It's only for big high-rise bulders with the intention to build and hold.
