Life changes is a broad category, but I think you'd find interesting information if you focused on a small niche in life changes (growing families, students >> workers, aging population, military re-assignments, energy industry towns, domestic disputes, inherited homes).From there it's finding either a service that can provide you that info, or automating your own data feed via scrapers and other tools that can get you people to contact.
