I know that it would be horrible and grounds for termination if I tried to buy a house from a patient that was on caseload, BUT are they fair game after discharge??

They typically post quite a bit of information, including things like: is preregistration of bidders required, how the auction works, when is payment expected if you win, what forms of payment are accepted, what liens are discharged by the tax sale and what liens are not discharged, when will you get title to the property, etc.Expect there to be a lot of competition.

The kind of mistake I have problem with is paper work not get processed on time (when one property was sold, the discharge paper, along with the officer's original signature paperwork did not get to the closing attorney until almost one month after closing, after multiple requests.

Improper disposal of trash...busted (I even had one property where we put a camera in the trash room to aid in catching who was tossing mops, brooms, lamps, and anything else down the chute).

I think she found 2 properties that will cf or damn close to it for low or no risk to herself (if her numbers are right) and that's pretty darn good for the first time out of the chute.
