I suggested calling her lender via conference call so we can clarify steps with her authorizing me to speak on her behalf, but haven't heard from her since then.My understanding is that she needs to send our PA to her lender for approval and they will deal with our lender.

There was no opportunity to present a defense.  

When you threaten someone with a legal notice, they reasonably become defensive.

Has anyone attended the Multifamily Technology and Entrepreneurship Conference (MTEC)?

It got me thinking about all the folks that attend conferences, spend time on social media forums, read a ton of books, but sit idle when it comes to becoming an active note investor.  

Plus, it is a very desirable market due to government, defense contracting, private equity and other businesses operating there. 

For instance, you could face major legal issues if you accidentally (ignorance is poor defense, especially in the Peoples Republic of Illinois) charge a tenant more than what you were charged plus the state allowed fee.  

I would hope that anyone on BP would know better not to go to one of those real estate conferences. 

The detailed methods are the most accurate, most defensible and get the most benefit.
