I am personally involved in a program that mentors young disadvantaged foster children, and I can tell you firsthand that it’s very rewarding. 

For example Never say "your children would enjoy..." - rather "Families with children enjoy...."

I have held onto the property for a few years beyond renting it,  so my children could use it for college.

When I was very young, he use to buy homes and resell them to his 13 children at a lower cost.

Do them a favour and split the properties up amoung your children.

Something as simple as a mailing to families - don't say "Your children will enjoy this" - rather - "families with children will enjoy".Think about the creepy factor.

I want to invest while I can before my wife and I start having children.

She says she can produce documentation stating that her children need the service dogs.

I am going to be targeting families for my rental, so it should definitely have items that appeal to children.

I want to build something that my children can be a part of as they get older and can be passed down to them.I am interested in networking with local realtors, lenders, contractors, attorneys, property managers and anyone else who can help me build a successful real estate business and in turn I help them as well.Looking forward to meeting everyone!
