@Connor O'BrienNobody knows for sure.The short negative effect on retail is obvious negative.However, longer term, with so much money printed in such short time period, every asset class will likely increase in value, including stock market, real estate, etc. simply dollar is worth less.My amateur guess on Macro economy.I am not an economist by any means.

My preference is to find a GP or syndicator that I trust and let them do their job without any intrusion or being second-guessed by an amateur investor. 

I’d like to preface my post buy saying I’m a very amateur real estate investor.

I have been to over 30+ tax sale auctions and have seen first hand amateur investors lose their shirts bidding on properties without doing their DD.

I'm an amateur but I flew to Texas twice, Mexico once, California three times, and I took my family of six to Hawaii and I still have over 400,000 points.

We all already know what it is.The execution though doesn't come at an amateur level without issues. 20 years without hiccups is great, I genuinely hope you don't falter for the sake of your investors.

If they wanted an STR they can hire a professional, insured PM to manage the STR rather than relying on an uninsured amateur to manage the STR  By the way, the STR restriction/lottery only applies to the city of San Diego.
