Hi, As a property manager (based in Chicago), I have to say the screening process is paramount, because its the start of your relationship with various prospects.

I am open to learning from experienced individuals, whether through phone calls or Zoom meetings, to deepen my knowledge in this area.

Over a year $200 on a $35-40K gross is nothing, yet over and over LLs want to "set a cap" vs screening for good guests/tenants instead. 

The reason for that is I have no idea how bad someone sucks at tenant screening.

After utilizing the Do Not Call Registry for phone numbers, my list is cut in half, to about 3,000.
