Credit checks, background checks, arrests, evictions, call all references.  

Probably the easiest resolution is to have the felon arrested and thrown back in prison for parole violation.

Primarily a restraining order would makes it easier to get the landlord arrested. 

When I was younger than her, my dad told me "if you ever get arrested, don't waste your one phone call on me, because I won't bail you out, I won't call a lawyer for you, I won't call a bailbondsmen." 

There are plenty of news stories of property managers who stole rent money from their clients and they all end the same way:  arrest, jail, restitution. 

I could have had them arrested for trespassing if I wanted, but I wrote their employer a nasty letter. 

Having spent many hours in & on the ocean in my youth the sheer peace & tranquility, yet the awesome unforgiving force of the waves arrest any thought of questing the ocean.

Make it clear that this day forward, if any more people are found inside the home, you will contact the police to have them arrested for trespassing.
