Join a local business or entrepreneur group.

If you decide to flip I recommend either: The Entrepreneur Mind by Kevin Johnson, or: The Psychology of Selling by Brian Tracy.

Almost all on here are entrepreneurs, and by that very definition, their goal is to do everything they can to get out of the day to day employee grind and run their own lives and businesses.

(Not completely relevant, but a fascinating tidbit, I think) Now, I think that study was mostly of salaried workers -- being a self employed investor/entrepreneur is a different thing, and I think if a study focused on those folks the results might vary quite a bit.BTW, my current income goal is $12,750 a month (yes, I have a reason for picking that specific number).

But I think of myself as an entrepreneur more than anything else.

However I've also noticed that many real estate entrepreneurs run their own company, "ABZ Properties LLC."

6) My future father in law is a highly successful entrepreneur and loaned my fiancé the money to buy our house which she now owns free and clear, but her dad is requiring us to pay the interest back to him, but no principal which he is gifting us.

Understand that failure is par for the course amongst entrepreneurs and that each bump in the road is mile marker on your destination to success.Listen to the podcasts, network - network - network, educate yourself, and get hands-on as soon as possible.
