For a lot of fixer upper homes, my offer, using an renovation loan, often loses out to lower offer cash buyers. 

My markets are very difficult I'm finding, even when looking at potential fixer-uppers, the numbers just don't work.

We converted the upper story of the 3 car garage to a 2/2 and a part of the lower level to a studio. 

From what I hear on the recent podcast 710 it's a great alternative to short-term rentals but a lot of leg work to get licensed and set up.

There are a lot of factors that go into but are you looking at properties that are turn key vs fixer uppers?

t ton money to lose, and have a thick upper lip knowing that if it does well, you will receive some money.
