Put your bedroom potentially on airbnb and couch surf or set up a bed in the garage or something to even put a little more income in your pocket.

My dream job is whatever will give me access to my time and pay well enough that I can do the things that I love - spending time with my family, being a good dad (when the time comes), traveling, surfing, boating, etc.

I just have my whole family here in Cali, personal network and am really personally and emotionally tied to surfing and the ocean.

I hope that makes sense...BP is turning me into an insomniac so I am pretty tired right now...must resist surfing more!

I learned my lesson owning two beach properties in nearby surf side beach.

We used to own beach property in nearby Surf Side Beach.  

I would tell you to save and learn like crazy, spend little and save a lot, surf these forums follow conversations, and ask questions.
