After finding out about the smoking, inviting others over to live, dogs pooping on hallway carpets (carpets to be replaced) and used up last months rent from previous owner, sellers agent now tells me (after the fact and sale) that this tenant reported previous owner to board of health because thats how she settles things.

I'm still getting settled in so before I get to investing & buying my own residence in the area, I'm deciding to do a short-term rental.

The US is generally the reverseWhen you get yourself settled and under control, reach out and we can have a chat. 

However the previous owner of the property was friends with the neighbors and testified there was a dispute.They ended up settling for some money and an easement onto my friends property.

The only reason I haven't started to build a team yet is because I obviously need to settle on a market first.

I need to settle sometimes and remember I am not the norm. 

I moved here from upstate NY not long ago (I moved coast to coast a couple of times for school and work, but I plan to settle down this time).I've been investing in the stock market in the last few years, and always want to switch to real estate, but didn't know how until I found BP.

The front and back porches have settled and still have the old brick and cinder block columns along with some makeshift added supports.

This doesn't mean that you should settle for the first agent that answers a few questions for you.
