Not many would risk everything they own if that was a requirement of investing in a business. if you’re referring to FRAUD”, then the individual committing said fraud can be sued individually, and  can not claim remote entity protection since they and not the entity, or they in addition to the entity are guilty of fraud.

From what I have seen, it is more common for a litigation claim to arise from a partnership relationship, employee relationship, or other business relationship than a claim by a tenant against a property owner.

Sure if you dont have your own 3-5% down payment then yes use DPA if you really want to buy.After going over the pros and cons typically our FTHB'ers or first time home buyers end up getting a gift or bring in their own 1-2% down + 1-3% gift and end up with 3-5% down payment and borrow at regular FHA/conventional rates (avoid the DPA program rates).This is actual experience.
