and big name folks that have lots of jobs as references for u to look at will be less flexible cuz they've already established a reputation.make sure its guaranteed for many years and u inspect firmness regularly as gates/fences can fall down and hurt/KILL pets or kids etc. thats why aluminum is smarter cuz its somewhat lighter than iron/steel.also make sure up front that if installer wants to leave his logo on it, that its small and also that u get a discount for it too. good bargaining chip!

Like this:http://www.bathauthority.com/images/shower/Doors/b...Just adding the bathtub shower doors might work, but if you also changed the tub to a white one, I think it would break up all that brown, and look nicer.Another cheap fix might be to change out the linoleum to a lighter design with a lot of white, if the flooring is linoleum.

some sub floors are lighter then others so a good underlay and Carpet in dry areas should help to reduce the noise.
