These were plats of subdivisions that were platted and recorded in the early 1900's but never developed and generally owned by one individual or company.

Has anyone done any of the individual asset syndications or only the funds?

I am hoping that by joining Bigger Pockets, I will meet many like minded individuals seeking financial freedom, for rental cashflow.  

In an ideal world, we'd look to get both, but with today's higher interest rates and rising home values, it seems harder for deals to cash flow.

Ideally, you want to look for markets with a growing economy, diverse industries, and growing population that indicates strong rental demand.

In this IDEAL situation the savings is minimal.  

FF is a great tool, but you can also look up local corporate leasing companies, as well as, insurance companies/agents to work with for individuals who are going through home insurance claims.  

How often is an individual successfully sued for an amount that exceeds their insurance coverage?
