I have a graduate degree from USC in engineering, still work full time, and do well, but working the 9-5 and trading my time for a set amount is what bothers me, I would say for any amount, but that’s not exactly true, but close.

I have a degree in Occupational Therapy so I'm going to that for a bit along with real estate investing.

So it would stand to reason that there is some opportunity to do something (some degree of improvements) to the older/existing MF properties out there.

For using leverage to acquire properties, did banks, lenders, mortgage brokers, or potential partners require that you held a college degree in order to secure the loan that leveraged your properties?

This way, I can still manage to a large degree how I have been doing my own units and they can benefit finaancially. 

A little background: I’m 29, live in Denver metro (Aurora) I don’t have any REI experience currently, and do not have a bachelors degree.

There are air-source heat pumps that work very well down to zero degrees Fahrenheit, and some work well even into sub-zero temps.

From there I have earned my mechanical engineering degree with hopes of one day no longer working for anyone but myself.

The degree to which you renovate will in part depend on your market demands and what your competition offers.
