If it were my lease, I'd just add language in an addendum to clearly state it was under the month-to-month provision from dates x to y, now lease term is extended to ... and all other provisions still remain in effect. 

In some cases, you can extend your Homeowners Liability to cover that lot. 

Please let me know how to price this properly for a lease term that would extend over those 3-5 years.

As one person put it, what appears to be one glowing thread, however, when that person is the only one who's had any extended experience with Anderson, they've EARNED that credibility.

Lease option is a viable way to *extend* your exit strategy, but the reality is that most lease options don't sell to the option buyer. 

Lawyer said we did not have to extend our closing date.
