As I'm sure you are aware, someone service dogs and emotional support dogs cannot be denied a rental.

They supported me (financially) up to and including college and have supported me (emotionally) my whole life.   

Pay attention to people , who mention both the negatives and positives .And while you save and build money , I would suggest you to build your emotional wealth as well , because  the whole investing is 75% mindset and 25% learning initially , once you do few deals it will become 90% mindset and 10% skills .Please also note that - while you do your research you will come across many many "gurus" , who are unethical and fraudulent .

Make sure you keep emotion out of the decision.  

I had someone send an obviously fake certificate for an"Emotional Support Animal" and of course it was for a pit bull.

.); guidance through inspections (as many sellers get emotional and lose sale during this process), coordinate required repairs, resale packages, comps for appraiser to help avoid appraisal issues,  pest and moisture reports, walk-through, etc.   

It's simply a compound of words, throwing emotion at it won't change a thing. 

Not emotionally attached to the house at all (not really the sentimental type), but still don't want it trashed due to laissez faire management. 

This would be most profitable as STR.I feel like my naysayers are being emotional and just looking at the upfront costs.I know sh*t always comes up after the fact, but I'm not afraid.

NEVER GET EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED TO PROPERTIES!!
