The width between the wood border and the glass is only 2.5 in so this has to be a very skinny lock.

That said, with Fletcher bordering Asheville as Woodfin does, it's possible that the town management could someday become interested in a similar approach.

Syndicating across the border (assuming you're in the States) would just be a mess.

Either way you lean politically, we've got at minimum 2 more years of this admin in Washington that doesn't seem to care about border security.

I've been very interested in the neighboring markets that border Atlanta.

We do a little in Michigan right accross the border too.

If you are central/east USA, TD bank offers cross border banking, including mortgages. 

We've also found that the closer you can get to the borders of the town the better the neighborhoods - usually.

I've checked rental history and personal references across borders before, so I know that's possible and somewhat helpful, but wouldn't weigh heavily on such.
