You're best approach may be a blended one.  1.

Trellis would work well too, but be careful not to plant something that would grow outward in girth and too tall, as that would visually split the house in half.Paint the white horizontal header at the porch gray, so it will blend in with siding.Extend the porch to the end of the house and change the railings.

Configuration is basically the same, and usually everything will migrate seamlessly. 

The siding should blend with the brick...even choose a color off the brick.

What really matters for profitability is the delta between blended cost of funds (debt + equity, where true equity = 0*) and cap rate.* Yes, I know the cost of equity is higher than the cost of debt from a financial analysis perspective, but equity doesn't have a cost on the P&L.

If the ceilings are white, my wife likes to use white ceiling fans to try to make them blend in a bit more.
