I am even more comfortable having several family members in the area which I visited annually throughout my childhood/adolescents and every couple years now as an adult.

Our dilemma is who to rent it out to...The most serious party is a very large family, 3 adult couples and 4 kids.

If they don’t, they could be forced to rely on reserve funds or even increase dues to cover the shortfall until the homes are repaired or rebuilt.

I believe the rental market will be strong in the coming years partly because the younger generation of adults are less likely to "settle down," and the price of home ownership is significantly higher than it was just five years ago.

I've been here since 2007 (but only started investing in SFH recently) and have definitely noticed that when I see a duplex, tri, quad, 8+ they all seem to be in rougher neighborhoods...that being said, I myself definitely want to find some and may end up relying on off-market deals to find what I want.Let me know if you learn anything new about multifamily here in Memphis, I'd love to understand it more as well!
