My interest in investing in the construction of a new single-family residence (SFR) on the West Coast of Florida was driven by a combination of factors.

Could be tolerable but unappealing to drive (90) minutes each way to check on progress.Now, think how difficult that would be if the property was in the mid-west.

Totally agree  to me the risk of getting a bummer after flying all the way from the west coast to Paris or anywhere across a pond is simply not worth it other than maybe a wine tour group to Tuscany etc..

I know on the West coast at least trust accounts cannot earn interest.

I've never met an LP who feels that they shouldn't.Data in this industry is the wild west.

I had lived in Athens GA as a grad student (2010-2016), however, I now live and work on the west coast.

Is there any interest out there for investors to attend a meet up in the North West burbs?

Albany Park and West Ridge are near us and merit a closer look.

I am  much further west, more toward the mountains in a smaller community with very little competition to fear.  

@Boffill Yosleys I'm facing a similiar situation in Louisville but my flip is in the west, it's done up real nice and has been on the market since early December.First, i would like to say you are not alone and many flippers are facing similar scenarios.Next, it don't hurt to try some magic dust.
