I do like the way @Joe Splitrock put it, as adding a buffer. 

The free and efficient market finds the price that the consumers are willing to bare.Only one thing in the last 50 years has affected the commission rates; The available supply of labor.

I would guesstimate that annual revenue is just below or around the million dollar mark with a labor percentage around the mid 20's!

Figure out how you can grow into a role that satisfies you, continue your drive into making a name for yourself in the real estate space, and you will absolutely benefit from the fruits of your labor if you take consistent action over the long term.

Is this calculation for labor, then you add supplies too?
