That's because what they teach stretches the ethical limits of what is accepted practice and many teach unethical tactics of dealing.If asked, gurus will swear up and down that what they teach is 100% legal, it might be in India, it might be in Iowa or Mississippi, but it usually comes to the threshold of illegal and some things will take you to the illegal side somewhere, if not in most states.

When I was setting up manufacturing for a certain item (past life) I chose India as opposed to Vietnam or China.

I looked at various options over the course of 6 months.I looked at India and the Philippines ( the rates are cheap but I do not share access overseas ).I looked at virtual assistants ( didn't want them telling my business ideas with other companies they were working with in the same field )I also did not want them have divided interests working on my company while doing tasks for others.For this reason I interviewed local people and hired on a IC status an assistant that manages my database, mailers, etc. among other things.
