Arnold Finkelstein Alabama Occupied Tax Deed Questions
24 June 2019 | 0 replies
However, there are, to my mind, fascinating questions. Background: A taxpayer has two contiguous parcels:- a delinquent parcel with a house on it that has been under-assessed as land.- an up-to-date parcel that is only land, but which has been over-assessed as having a house on it.Due to what appears to be an assessor's error from years ago that one can say "switched" the parcels, I think the taxpayer believes she has been paying taxes on the parcel with the house, and is unaware of the error.Questions:1)  Someone in the Tax Assessor's office in downtown Birmingham told me today that if I buy a tax deed for a parcel that has a house on it, but is only assessed as land, the tax deed only entitles me to the land underneath the house.

Erin Auman Feeling a little discouraged

@Erin AumanI've documented quite a few times how I ended up with my first rental property...my wife brought me the deal and insisted that we were buying it, my only choice in the matter was deciding if I was going to put my big-boy pants on about it or not.I had flipped three apartments in Athens, Greece but I'd really never thought about buying a rental property. It isn't written in stone that things have to be the way they are and they will always be the way they are.

We also have Faira that gets you on the MLS free but you must pay full 3% to the buyer agent. This is all fascinating to me and agents are offering 0% up to a price point to sell and up incrementally in fractionalpercentages.

Correlation meaning everything is moving in unison more than ever...so when something bad happens in greece, everything goes down, etc.. the future of technology may be great, but if the overall market is down it will suffer the same fate. The problem with equities is the company you hold may be spectacular, but if the market crumbles, so does your stock, it's called systemic risk.
