Possibly the mold came with the bamboo and there may be financial claims you can file in that direction.This class action lawsuit is for splitting, not mold, but it will give you an idea :  http://www.classactionsreporter.com/consumer/lumbe...I know there is another one for formaldehyde from China bamboo.

We are entering a trade war of sorts with China (and their economy is tanking by the way which significantly affects our economy), the Fed needs to reduce their balance sheet from the QE's which means raising rates, the Dems have promised further volatility now that they control the House and have made their plans known and most of the people who dutifully place their money in 401(k)s that are invested in the market have no idea what that means or why it will destroy their 401(k) in the coming year or two.

They had strong rent growth each year but now with rent control in some places and talk of vacancy control they are worried that rent growth will severely slow down and expenses will increase.There is some buyers from China and Japan that care less about the cap rate and more about just getting money here into property assets.
