There are lots of possibilities....do you want to rent to snowbirds or weekenders?

I'm working with an investor from NYC doing the same exact thing this weekend.

I would suggest heading down there on a long weekend and checking out the different neighborhoods.

Would make a good weekend hunting camp... which is big in Tx as we've got very little public land, if I hit the road it might also be a good mini ranch type homesite, it's within the longview metro area.  

I typically get weekend rentals starting in May thru June.  

When I moved here 15 years ago all my co-workers had snowmobiles and were riding every weekend.

When we moved to TC, we dove right in, networking on the weekends and got heavily involved in our community to successfully open our health center.

I plan to do a walk through of at least one this weekend.

I loved the experience, and wanted to see if I could repeat it, and within 6 months, I bought my second one.I was able to drive roundtrip over the weekend, do multiple walkthroughs and put offers.

For my wife and I who hiked and biked every weekend in CA-not being able to do that in TX has been brutal.
