The location is actually really beautiful it is just rough to access in bad weather. 

@Julian Dover Weather is not a problem in Chicago if children are not involved.

The loan included a portion of the interior rehabs (80% of what we forecasted for the first 12 months). 

I am currently in my last semester of college and am working a job that only pays me $15hr to sit at a desk and forecast all day... which has been driving me absolutely CRAZY.  

I expect a month or so buffer, but I'm also wondering if the cold weather in general is a major deterrent for renters relocating.

In my experience, Jonathan can take RDU Broker to a recommendable level by: (1) Investing in client expectation setting; (2) Setting resident/property check-ins on regular intervals & after critical weather; (3) Moving the self-service portal to more frequent updates.In the beginning, I hoped to experience a great relationship with RDU Broker.

As an Agent in a coastal area, here's my advice:Find a roofer who can provide a temporary fix such as placing a tarp over the damaged area until the weather allows for a better assessment. 

However I would not invest in RE unless it projected short-term return of at least 4x the return of your VTASX fund annual return for this century and fortunately all of my current RE investments easily outperformed my forecast.  

This also allows us the opportunity to observe if the tenant is following the terms of the rental agreement.Our current seasonal inspection focus is on heating systems, weatherizing, yard cleanup and gutters.Hope this helps!.

That is a huge deterrent especially in an area that might get  a lot of cold weather and snow.There is a much smaller pool of buyers for houses with steep grades.
