In addition to what @Karen Margrave said you should be able to see the triangle dial on the meter spinning even with the water turned off if you have a leak.

However, I would read the early prepayment penalty clause, do a little math and see if a rate drop of .5 to .7 more than offsets the penalty.You might also wish to reach out to @Gary McGowan and drop in on one of his REI meet-ups when they spin-up again in the autumn.

The advantage though is that I can spin up a new Serie in minutes by signing a new operating agreement (we don't require Secretary of State registration for each Serie in NV) and my costs are greatly reduced versus having regular LLCs for each property.Jean
