Yah, after Ohio fell apart, I had to do some soul searching on what I wanted to do anymore.    

Then get the exterior done very quickly before they notice.After a few years just claim that it was like that when you got here.Or pull permits and may god have mercy on your soul.

Sometimes it is better to receive less of a profit in order to provide shelter for a deserving soul.

I was in a very similar situation to you about a year and a half ago when I was likewise at the age of 26, and I went to BP for advice, and after much research and soul-searching and advice from folks who have been at this for decades, an owner-occupied fourplex made the most sense.

I really have to do some soul searching on this.On one hand I would love to keep the house that I'm considering selling because it will easily be worth 350+ in the next 5-10 years as it is 6 miles from downtown and sits on half an acre.

If you don't want it bad enough, it's not going to happen, so you need to do some soul searching.

I cant describe why but I have a feeling deep in my soul that now is the time to build my foundation of a passive income stream through real estate.
