So this is how I eneded up here reading all the forums, listening to the podcasts, and most recently finding a mentor that really sparked a passion in me when it comes to real estate investing. 

I am very passionate about real estate, and I love the freedom it brings.

If you're passionate about real estate investing, you'll probably see value and have ideas that no one else will understand.

It seems to me that they're not as passionate about real estate.

I have a very solid knowledge of construction and have a passion to share/teach others and see them grow as well.WHAT I WANT TO LEARN:I am an awkwardly tall (1" shorter than @beardybrandon) sponge.

I'm not certain yet what my specific direction will be as I literally just decided today that it's time -- but multifamily is my true passion.   

There are so many products beyond just flipping or buy and hold.Like any professional field, you should do some basic research and decide what you would be passionate about.I did flipping for 3 years, then moved onto being a HML.

I want to start a Sober Living Home Business in DFW, TX due to the demand and my passion to help others. 

Basically, the answer to your question comes down to what your passions and end goals are.
