I do need to put a new roof on it soon but with such low rent, it's a hard pill to swallow.I may move back into the house in a year or two.

While it would be a bitter pill to swallow if things somehow went sideways and we had to pay, we definitely would to protect our credit and because it’s the right thing to do; thankfully we’re Blessed to be in a financial position that we could do that.

@Brian Armstrong There is no secret juice or pill you can swallow, no one can predict an outcome, you just have to keep sending mail and dont stop.

@Joanne Jang, That's the poison pill of 1031 investing - the best time to sell and start a 1031 is the worst time to complete a 1031 - a sellers market. 

The news stories about seniors not filling a prescription or splitting a pill to make them go further hit home for me because my dad did those things without telling anyone. 

CASH is king and we buy for cashflow, having no cashflow for 4 years is a tough pill to swallow.I do have an additional $10k per year as a maintenance budget which I think is a a bit high.

I actually only want to charge $550 more, but that is still going to be a tough pill to swallow.  

Worst place to work, job security yes, but very little money...so things started pilling up!
