@Matt Wells I think it depends on your time of investment, as stocks might not be the best option if you plan to use the money in the short term to purchase more units, in such case you can pick less vulnerable assets like bonds and etc.

@Josue Caliz Humble I wouldn't confuse me with, but willing to be vulnerable and share my mistakes for the benefit and learning of others, that I am willing to do.

Over focusing on lowest cost puts an investor in a position to be dissatisfied and vulnerable.

However, a sensitivity towards history (I believe) leads thoughtful people to see the unfortunate situation where the collective actions (the market) of those with resources and power continually force those with less to move out of places they would otherwise desire to stay.I am a part of several communities of people who are doing our best to come up with ANY kinds of initiatives that will help protect vulnerable populations, but it often feels like a force we are powerless to influence.

when you treat customers that are vulnerable poorly like putting them in a tough situation they will return the favor.

The end result is that Pennsylvania has a system where the buyer is generally the most vulnerable party.

Is it reliant on only one industry therefore is vulnerable, or is it widespread?

I had projects going on like installing utilities on busy boulevards like city water mains, gas mains, manholes up to 30 feet deep, city sewers, underground utilities for 50-story hotels and I was doing large plumbing and underground utilities for the Los Angeles airport.In 1972, I worked briefly for a telemarketing company and learned that the most vulnerable, naive, gullible and easiest targets for selling things like limited partnerships to is doctors and dentists because they make a lot of money, they want to invest their money and because they are busy they don't have the time to do research for the things they invest in. 

This area is particularly vulnerable to the risks of wildfire due to the rugged terrain and high wind events caused by gusting Santa Ana winds which can cause wildfires to spread rapidly.
