I think it is a great place to start saving for the indoor rainy day, but I'd max that savings out at about $5500.If you are using your VA loan, you have to live there.  

Depending on the state &/or county, tax sales & foreclosures may all be conducted via Courthouse steps auction.In Dallas, the proceedings have moved indoors, but there's still a tax sale on Texas Tuesday.Just be sure you know what kind of auction it is and what you're bidding on.

Perhaps we will start seeing even more as the weather gets colder and people are spending more time indoors. :-) I recently discovered BP myself and I still cannot believe the wealth of knowledge available.

How long they can provide service,,indoor storage services and security. 

Also, all of the other neighbors on the block have a 4-5 car indoor garage (separate units like a storage unit) that is tucked away on the back of the yard in front of the alley.  

If there is a male [and female] in the home is there more likely to be holes in the walls, kicked in doors, etc?  

Not sure if the noise would be an issue or not.I know the guy smokes, and I don't allow smoking indoors, I can probably disqualify him on the smoking issue.However, what do you all think of renting to a biker?

In our units with average quality carpets and good pads, where the households are smoke free, pet free, and outside shoes are not worn indoors... the carpets are lasting at least 10 years.

Check out the epa statement on mold....basically that it is "impossible to eliminate all mold and mold spores in the indoor environment"  So isn't it likely that whoever tests for mold is very likely to find something that can then try to sell you additional remediation services on?
