I find as I finance BRRR folks and flippers over the years their estimated profits are normally very high and based on perfection.. 

Any other ideas from the Tampa folks as to what areas I should focus on, contacts in the area, or just any other ideas in general about buying a STR in Tampa?

Everyone's circumstances are different, so maybe it makes sense for you to borrow against the 401k, but I just think it is important that folks are fully educated on all factors before making that decision.

I happen to agree with most of the folks on this board that this kind of structure is overkill.Also, understand there can be issues getting a mortgage with an institutional lender and potential problems getting title insurance.
