Wholesalers (no offense to those in the comments) who are doing this without being a foreign entity are probably co-wholesaling which is on the borderline and practically acting as an agent without a license or getting referral fees by having actual wholesalers on the ground doing deals and they just provide the leads which is different than wholesaling.

And for networking events with agents  - Under the Forums tab, there's an Events & Meetups section where you can submit Houston or your specific zipcode and find some.

Connect with local wholesalers and investor friendly agents and provide your criteria to start receiving deal flow.

True, but (a) they were typically experienced investors, and (b) today's market includes record prices and high mortgage rates, which is a double whammy.

As agents we tend to feel the pulse of the market shifting before the data hits the newsstands.

Local real estate agents are saying open it up still as the opening seems too small and makes the space feel cramped.
