For some RE is a distraction because their careers are so prosperous.Have you heard of the book "Your Money or Your life"?

It is so badly designed that it's distracting.

This isn't the hedge funds .... this is individual investors jumping on the train because they are afraid of being left behind (and the funds are loving it).In my mind, the savvy investor positions his/her self by following the rules and not being distracted by the shiny objects.

As for distractions, you will always have to deal with those.

I'll admit I can get distracted with multiple niches/strategies so all the info on here may lead to overload.

This place needs color and interesting distractions.

Since I didn't have anything like BP to guide me, and I was sitting on tons of equity, I had the bright idea to get a cash-out refi and buy a business, which was supposedly extremely profitable.Long story short, after I bought the business, I found out that the seller had previously sold the business to another company, and a massive lawsuit resulted between everyone involved, which pretty much wiped me out because of the legal fees and distractions from the lawsuit.

People will procreate and want to have some leisure time and distractions.

The more you can distract a potential buyer from the traffic the better.
