If you're looking at Akron, definitely look at Detroit as well.In my opinion (and I'm very biased here with 12-doors in Detroit), there's better growth potential in Detroit.

OP the good thing about BP is varying opinions and also objectives.  

My opinion is that if people were making reasonable business calculations, these types of cases wouldn't even get there as the end result would be a judge having his eyes effectively glazed over and losing confidence in the efficacy of the sub metering solution. 

In my opinion, the folks that blindly listed their properties based on the presidential election will force the prices down even further.

That way, I have my agent's opinion, an inspection report, and an itemized bid from my contractor.

You are going to pay much more for any type of work done (not including all the headaches associated with it) so in my opinion it's better to buy something that's already turnkey. 

And when it's your money, your opinion of them matters. 

I would walk the property (if you can) with a trusted contractor, but get the opinion from several.
