I work at a Home Depot, and we have a button on the register for "Meet and Beat".. we meet competitors prices and beat them by 10%.

And then you come to realize the offsetting negative, that what's good is bad because everybody now becomes your competitor (although not necessarily competent).Conversely, becoming an expert in courthouse records retrieval qualifies you to be privy to knowledge that others do not possess. 

We went with them due to everyone else in our market having a website with another leading competitor.

My area has a few superb realtors, who have 5 or 6x the sales of their competitors.

I also know all my competitors whom I live no crumbs for. 

But the obvious takeaway is 'wow, you must be getting paid a lot more than your competitors.'

I've done quite a bit of research on this MMA and the competitors out there.

Coke agressively used the courts to stifel competitors and Pepsi had little money and nothing to lose so they stifled right on back.
