Hi Jonathan, I have found value investing in Cleveland, OH because it is home to Cleveland Clinic, lot of good neighborhoods, landlord friendly laws, stable appreciation and good cash flowing properties.

Knowing the Rochester market a bit and how big of a boom town it is now and will be with the continued expansion of the Mayo clinic, it'd be a very safe investment.

Currently, my profession is in the medical field as I am a medical assistant for a well known Sports Medicine Clinic.

I'm a clinical social worker/therapist by license/training, MBA student (OU in Athens, OH ), spent 10 years in the US Army, and spent all 10 of those years studying real estate investing but never taking action.

We also have the Mayo Clinic and an NFL team.  

You will always have clinic people and downtowners that want to live in the closest eastern suburb, and it has some character.
