I've never held a basketball, and don't know what a three point shot is, so what would you recommend?

Let me give you an analogy:I lace up sneakers and buy myself a basketball and the first person I see I ask, "Which way to the NBA?"

I have also been known to be a pretty talented weekend warrior tackling many projects on my own houses over the years.

That's like saying you can't find people that like to play basketball at parks.
