Regardless, what I'm trying to say is that you don't have to follow the same path but talk to several other lenders as there are options with smaller credit unions if you're strictly looking for buy and hold without having to do rehab.

After talking to 3 different big banks who said "No due to seasoning requirements," I finally got my credit union to refinance with no cash out on the home my parents deeded over to me 3 weeks ago.

My only two options would be another HELOC or a fixed 15 yr equity loan at around 9% interest.Am I missing something or is it just my bank (Navy Federal Credit Union)Thanks,Mike
