Aren't all the MLS properties available to the public?

The city has a lis penden list as part of their public records, with a new 50 or so listings added daily.My plan is to comb through the lists and find addresses of interest, compile a shortlist and then do a drive around to those properties.

I work for the Chicago Public Schools (10-month worker as a Dean of an elementary school), and many Illinoisans may know that CPS is facing some serious financial issues/future CUTS!

Politicians will bleed the public using the children as pawns.

It's kind of late to learn how to value a note, like saying how do I learn how to appraise a property and then do a market study to find the most probable sale price through private and public sales.

This information is publicly available online as well.

Learning where and how to look up public records, scouting out comps in the area, and looking at the local market around these deals.  

Even if your agent pays for no advertising this is going to get your listing out to the public better than any advertising campaign can anyway.
