Hi Everyone,I am a new investor in the Austin, Texas area (more specifically - Kyle and Wimberley).  

Not looking for specific money amounts obviously, I can figure that out on my own as long as I have some direction.

Given that purchase price is low it is hard to use the property as collateral.

I recently purchased a 2500 sq ft lot on level ground, situated between two existing houses.

@Derek Morrison I list “typical qualifications” in my rental listing then have a specific email response to inquiries that again lists my “typical qualifications,” along with an attached application form, that if they meet those, they can request appt x day for 20-minute time slot, and I only accept applications after meeting them at the appointment.

Like 50 or 100, not just 2.Not enough specifics to give you a better answer, but it sounds to me like you are considering giving up a great equity play that moves the needle quite a bit (San Diego, right?)

All the properties were purchased site unseen on their recommendation & has been spot on .   

Interest rates are higher when we purchase for an LLC owned property vs a personal owned property.
