WELL this loan officer got fired the day before closing (which has already been delayed multiple times for things within the LO's control).I am now working with a different loan officer to pick up the pieces of my loan and hopefully close monday.

I had a piece of land lowered by 25000 this year to 38000, so IMHO its worth it to protest

I saw a picture the other day from a homeowner where he laid out about 20 marketing pieces he had received in the mail in the last month or so.

Having trouble comprehending how the equity piece works into the overall purchase price...

They need some blog posts to get them started, and I want to write a "Tips from the Experts" piece where investors more familiar with the concept give advice on some of the advantages / pitfalls of the model. 

Reach out to everyone and take a small piece from each investor and develop it into yournown identity and you will be a great investor.

Thanks for sharing this article.The author has cherry picked the pieces that negatively supports his line of reasoning.Additionally, there is no guarantee that everyone who invested in stocks would see a positive return as quoted.So, it depends on the drive, plan, creativity and mindset of the individual.It's a known fact that most of the millionaires made/secured their wealth through RE and not the stock market.Looking back at the author's path to home ownership, he could have re-calibrated his steps and do creative REI investing to make himself whole.The author's story sounds like a good one to tell, generate laughter and lively conversations, but, I am not convinced with his line of reasoning about home ownership.

Literally, write it down on a piece of paper and post it up on a fridge or somewhere visible.

My marketing is basically 1 email a month, 1 snail mail piece a month, and I try to get something of value into their hands every 2-3 months or so.
