"Indoor/outdoor living" is the concept of putting in a huge sliding glass door (the size of a whole wall), for instance, that would, when open, combine a background and living room into one free flowing state.Market research indicates that renovations, and subsequently, "indoor/outdoor living", are very popular right now.For a personal perspective, would it be worth it to put these types of products in a Class B home, in a Class A or Class B neighborhood?

Finished product is to be a properly rehabbed standard SFR and marketed as such.Thanks in advance for any insight and lessons learned!

@Mike Hoherchak in my opinion if you are buying a quality asset that cashflows and can provide moderate to strong returns you are in great shape.

Just wondering if there are folks out there willing to share their experience in the larger product space.

Keeping in mind that this advice comes from someone who doesn't necessarily trust property management companies or the quality of their services. 

What I am doing is took out HELOC on other property I have to use as capital for renovations, then plan is to refi to pay myself back and lock property in for consistent income production. 

I went to one as a guest and I am thinking it was the same year.. they had all sorts of different products for sale there.IRA set ups  asset protection  Lots in Lehigh FLA  rental houses in Detroit  etc etc.  

Watch your commercial a$$es.To add to Jay's  Heloc warning, I see residential folks using blanket portfolio and commercial products with cross-collateralization clauses and all kinds of small print.
