A recent BP podcast featured a guest talking about just that, how he wanted to be on the safe side versus getting massive and having a 30% chance of collapsing.In my case, on one property I had 4 evictions in 4 years on one property (ugh...2 of those tenants were inherited).

Common in places like NY city where it's the responsibility of the landlord to insure the tenant has Renters insurance.I've talked to a few companies who offer this, but never ran into a landlord who went through with the policy.Set up - The landlord buys the policy (minimum annual premium is $5k or $10k).
