The reason is that the housing authorities have become more and more demanding, and this required more time and hassle and frustration - and money, in fixing things and installing things, like locks and fences and who knows what next.

This is the reason for fences around pools, or around property with a pond on it, with a rope swing, etc.https://www.esurance.com/info/homeowners/what-is-a...Even if your insurance company hadn't told you about the trampoline, you could still be liable for negligence even if you didn't know about the trampoline, if they could argue that you should have done inspections more often, so you'd know what's happening on the property.I'm glad they cooperated and removed it.
