In addition, not all condo associations welcome investors with open arms.They also see lower rates of appreciation compared to single-family.The amenities also offer great magnets for prospective tenants.On the other hand, the tenant pool is generally smaller for condos.I would contact a local investor-friendly real estate agent that is familiar with condos and they can likely guide you on which projects to avoid and which ones would be solid investments.Hope this helps!

In NC it might just be the building codes electrical for exterior gouge etc. 

There might be some telling signs by doing a thorough look about the exterior of the property. 

I made an exterior mockup of what I think a more upscale exterior might look like.Something that (to me) "feels" more a match to the interior.Should you do this, probably not.

One of the items on the inspection was that the exterior electrical meter box was worn and rusted.

I already have a 50 watt hook up on the exterior of the barn, but there will not be any water hookups (ever).
