I am currently an engineering student but am looking to educate myself in real estate in the hopes that one day I can create some residual income. 

My current and full time job is as an Electrical Engineer. 

My goal is to be registered with every search engine of importance as well as have established company profile pages on every site that would benefit my company’s web presence, accessibility/functionality, and overall image.I was contacted by a company called Yext yesterday.

Then, you need to "reverse engineer" you plan starting with your goals and develop a series of "milestones" (mini-goals) and "steps" (properties) that get you to your ultimate goal.Steve's first question was "where are you starting from"?  

We are now looking for an engineer to help us control the flow.Anyone have any recommendations?

Of course if anyone has feedback on this part, I'd love to hear it.Then I realized I might be able to engineer a more creative solution.

The banks in the area can pick up the bonds, if your muni is rated A+ or better of their investment portfolio, they can also meet their requirements under the Community Reinvestment Act which they are required to invest in.Offer tax credits for new businesses establishing themselves in the enterprise zone, real estate taxes, sales taxes, use tax, are all on the table to negotiate with, usually the more employment brought in, the better the tax relief is.Create a "Mayor's Commission" of public minded civilians, business owners, non-profits, real estate types, engineers, banks and primary industry leaders.

There are firms out there without legal, underwriting and financial engineering capabilities that will hurt you in the long run.

Truth be known, I really only like to do the work that involves implementing new energy efficiency measures, designs or materials for the first time - it's the engineer in me, I need to know how it all goes together and works.Today, was the start of the retrofit on our student rooming house and we insulated and replaced windows in one end of the 80 ft long building.
